The finished Pillows

The design in one form, and four hours later I had the finished product. Now why did I wait so long to do this project.... Sometimes good things come to those that wait. Now on to the Master bedskirt. I am tired of repinning it from a year ago. I have made the side pieces and thought I could just secure it with pins to the boxsprings.Not so much. So at the same fabric store I found muslin that was 90" wide and on sale.... So I will move the mattress tomorrow and do a dry fit and pin then stitch. Hope the plan is this easy tomorrow!

I have always wanted to start a blog, just thought I had nothing to say. Sometimes you just need to put yourself out there and take a risk.... so here I am. Today is my 12 day count down to my month in Palm Spring's Paradise. So another project raises to the surface in "the get er done" before you can leave mentality. I have had a pillow project in mind for about 2 years. Last night it finally came together in my mind. I bought extra fabric when I purchased two chairs for my living room for coordinating pillows, to make someday. I finally decided that the room needed an accent color and of course it was black. So today, I went to Jo'Ann's and found pillow forms for 50% off and black velvet. Of course, I change one of the designs after looking at the pattern book. Now the fabric is cut and I am off to sew.
